Our engineering staff has extensive experience in the fields of platform technology, HPC, storage, operating systems, and software.

Standard Warranty Period

  • All hardware comes with a 3 year RTF (Return To Factory) warranty*
    *Some supporting external hardware may carry a shorter manufacturers period

Bronze Program (Standard)

  • 1 year of Advance Parts Replacement
  • 3 year RTF (Return To Factory) warranty

Silver Program

  • 1 year 8x5 Next Business Day On-site
  • 3 year RTF warranty

Gold Program

  • 1yr 7x24 Help Desk
  • Next Business Day On-site
  • 3 year RTF warranty

Platinum Program

  • 1yr 7x24 Help Desk
  • 4hr On-site
  • 3 year RTF warranty

Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) Policies^ Top

A RMA authorization number must be obtained from our RMA Department prior to returning any product. RMA #s are valid for 30 days from the date of issue. It is not uncommon to receive an inquiry from our Technical Support Group prior to the issue of a RMA # in an effort to resolve a possible non-hardware related error/failure.

Technical Support^ Top

Western Scientific technical support is handled and monitored by our experienced engineering staff. An automated trouble ticketing system is used to field and monitor support issues. Standard technical support hours are 8am-5pm PST Monday - Friday.
